RTX 3090 VS Skyrim ROUND 2

Hello everyone! Many have requested a gameplay video of my Skyrim. Well here it is! I took this opportunity to once again test the limitations of my RTX 3090. In my unboxing video, my Skyrim barely ran 35-40 FPS. After some cleaning up and optimizations, I finally did it! This video goes over various locations with some commentary. Mod list is provided at the end of the video so be sure to watch all of it! Thank you all! Love, Sun

How long did you have to wait before you were able to purchase your RTX 3090 SunJeong? I'm on the queue list for an EVGA RTX 3090 over there on EVGA's website. I signed up two weeks ago tomorrow & am curious as to how long you had to wait for your secure email to come through... Thank you.

Very smooth video even with the recording software. It is good to see the new card in action and know you are pleased with it! I recently bought the 2080Ti OC and am very happy with it. I will not be moving up to the next series for a while after spending the money.

Thank you for updating us! 😸

The jump between the 20 Series & the 30 Series is quite significant. I'm currently waiting for EVGA to send me my secure email so I can upgrade from an EVGA RTX 2080Ti to an EVGA RTX 3090. A 3090 packs 24GB GDDR6 VRAM vs the 2080Ti's 11GB GDDR6 VRAM. That's more than double the VRAM & is the main reason I'm upgrading.

Glad you were able to get the rtx working when you changed to a 1000w psu.

PSU requirements will only increase as Nvidia/AMD unleash beefier flagship model video cards over the coming years... The 30 Series video cards support PCI Express 4.0 which requires a motherboard equipped with PCI Express 4.0 slots. Sure, these are backwards-compatible with PCI Express 3.0 but why deal with the artificial bottlenecks? Intel's upcoming 11th Gen chips (due to release sometime in March) will also support PCI Express 4.0... They're already hard at work on PCI Express 5.0 according to what I've read & what my adopted father has told me seeing as how he's a computer engineer over there at Intel.

A list of the environmental mods and adjustments you made to get that amazing quality of game, or at least the links to the tutorials you used would be awesome. I realize you need a high end system to do this and as I was considering upgrading soon that help out alot.

I'm sure alot of the folks who watch your site are also dying to know how you got the amazing look out of your game, and getting it to run so smoothly.

Thank you for putting all these resources up, your efforts have truly enriched the players who frequent your site.
